Job Title :: Technical Program Manager

Location :: Guadalajara, MX//Onsite all 5 days

Job Type :: Contract

This critical role involves bridging the gap between the platform's strategic capabilities and our internal users' ability to leverage them. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming the current high-friction onboarding process into a scalable, self-serve model, reducing technical bottlenecks, and fostering a robust internal developer community. As a highly technical partner, you possess mid-level coding experience that allows you to confidently navigate, set up, and make minor contributions directly to the codebase to streamline integration for our users.

Responsibilities

Enablement & Education: Lead the development of actionable playbooks, tutorials, and technical guides to create a scalable, self-service onboarding experience.

Code-Level Support & Tinkering: Accelerate user onboarding by independently setting up local environments/codebases, diagnosing integration blockers, and submitting minor code changes or bug fixes.

Advocacy & Feedback: Systematize user "Listening Tours" into a continuous feedback loop, acting as the "voice of the user" to the product team and mediating technical disputes.

Evangelism & Community: Proactively drive platform adoption through technical workshops, office hours, and the establishment of a peer-to-peer support community.

Operational Agility: Streamline the multi-stage launch lifecycle, including standardizing sign-offs from Legal and Privacy to achieve sub one-week campaign rollouts.

Strategic Governance: Educate internal teams on respectful engagement practices to mitigate business risks and protect user trust within the Workspace ecosystem.

Technical Support Coordination: Deflect common engineering queries by directly troubleshooting code issues and providing scalable documentation, freeing core engineering leaders for strategic development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Communications, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in Technical Program Management or Developer Relations, ideally within a large-scale technology environment.

Proven mid-level coding proficiency (e.g., ability to read and understand complex application logic, navigate repositories, used codebase workflows, and comfortably write minor patches/bug fixes).

Proven track record of creating technical documentation, onboarding programs, or educational content for developer audiences.

Strong project management skills, with experience navigating complex organizational workflows (e.g., Legal, Privacy, and Security reviews).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional engineering and product leadership.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on "Northstar" metrics.

Experience with internal-facing platform products or "Internal DevRel" models

Comfortable diving into unfamiliar codebases, standing up SDKs/APIs locally, and translating code behavior into clear developer documentation.

Familiarity with the Google Workspace ecosystem or recommendation platforms

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and execute a 90-day foundational roadmap independently.
