Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and carry out detailed program management plan; secure signoff’s with program sponsors. Set up implementation mechanisms in order to ensure that defined process is followed by the program team while executing various activities.
Contribute to definition of business case and program charter alignment in order to build and strengthen client relationships.
Prioritize key deliverables; assumes full accountability for overall success of the program
Coordinate with track owners, seek inputs, compile and construct scope document. Secure signoff’s and ensures downstream and upstream traceability
Draws a master schedule, coordinate and conduct meetings with individual track owners to detail out the stated milestones, call out dependencies. Conduct periodic reviews, capture deviations and escalate exceptional deviations.
Conduct independent reviews on Technical Solution, highlight technical risks to program stake holders, their impact on the program and devise strategies to mitigate them without impacting the program.
Identify, execute and report on continuous improvement activities and conduct quality audits
Receives change requests, facilitates impact analysis, schedule change control meetings, track the change requests and follows up on them for closure
Set up tracking mechanisms for the risks and propose a risk mitigation plan
Receive FTE requirement estimates, initiate onboarding of the resources.
Identify training needs of the team and enable ongoing competency development of the team
Responsible for coordinating program related communications, including compiling project information for reviews and set up governance mechanism with identified program stakeholders
Provide inputs and participate in program progress and act as the first level of escalation on across multiple tracks that’s involved in the program
Able to respond to most situations with limited guidance and formulate alternative courses of action on more complex information with additional guidance from seniors
Skills /Competencies: Essential:
Experienced in driving large programs in complex multi-vendor environment
Ability to manage global, multi-vendor, high-risk programs involving complex dependencies
Ability to demonstrate traits of a big and complex program manager
Should have good understanding of ECM Products (IBM Suite preferred) and experience in managing ECM Programs.
Skilled to interface with multiple business units, organizations, and multiple specialist groups within the organisation as well as within the client organisation
Ability to work closely with senior Business Leaders, IT Partners, vendors and peers for the project, the customer and the transition team (onshore and offshore)
Ability to lead/coordinate a cross-functional team, ensuring that program meets the defined scope, time, cost and quality constraints
Ability to manage critical/high risks that may arise during the program and successfully execute the program without impacting the overalls schedule or quality
Familiarity with large and complex ECM Migration programs in banking sector
Additional Skills: Excellent customer interfacing skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
