Division Overview

Our Pre-Sales Group is comprised of around 30 to 40 Market Specialists, with specialized domain and technical expertise, across each one of the asset classes and/or functional areas our solution provides spread across North America, LATAM, Europe and APAC.

Team Overview

The support team’s primary role is to support global Presales from technical perspective. They play an extremely vital role in the sales cycle as the main support to the team which is ultimately responsible for articulating the value-proposition of the Calypso solutions, as it relates the technical architecture of the solution, through client/prospect demo’s and presentations.

Role Overview 

The Technical Support Analyst role will focus on the Presales environment built in AWS and help global Presales team to overcome technical difficulties in using these environments. It also includes Calypso application troubleshooting, Calypso environmental issues, Environment performance problems, setting up new environments, AWS environment monitoring etc. Each Technical Support Analyst responsibilities is the management of numerous simultaneous projects that range from AWS environment setup, Calypso environment upgrades, AWS and Calypso environment changes, supporting Presales Scheduled activities from Technical perspective. The Presales group plays a major role in helping us to meet our overall financial goals and contributing to our overall growth.

Responsibilities

  • System installation, including Java JRE download and installation, relational database installation, data model installation and upgrade scripts, setup and configuration of event-driven framework, configuration of real-time data feeds, etc.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and support to the Presales team.
  • Support and maintain the presales AWS environment, across all designated servers globally.
  • Provide support for the global Pre-sales team from a technical perspective
  • Work with product Support teams for Presales environment fixes
  • Work on AWS and Calypso environment deployment and upgrades
  • Support working hours may involve shifts (Morning, Evening)

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-6 years of industry experience
  • Technical background; Java, JBOSS, SQL and RDBMS experience
  • Linux, Windows server, middleware technologies, networking and software deployment, debugging and troubleshooting, Shell scripting experience is desirable
  • Oracle DBA experience or working knowledge with Oracle indexes, performance monitoring, DB tuning will be an added advantage
  • AWS experience and AWS certification is desirable
  • Experience on Tools such as GIT, JIRA, Jenkins will be an added advantage

Our office

Calypso Pune is located on the 11th floor of Montreal Business Center Tower. We’re located near Mahabaleshwar hotel and nearby Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Stadium. One can reach to these places in 10-15 minutes’ drive from our office. Our office currently accommodates 15 employees with 2 conference rooms. Our Pantry is well stocked with plenty of coffee, vending machines and fresh fruit and a TV.
