ActronAir is looking for an enthusiastic, qualified Service Technician who thrives on providing technical support to its broad range of customers from installers to end users.

ABOUT THE ROLE...

Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing swift technical support to our broad range of valued dealers & customers nationally. You will be part of a national technical support team that will be the main point of call for resolving & troubleshooting, whilst ensuring both customer and business expectations are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES...

  • Trade and consumer Technical Support
  • Administration and Systems Support
  • Hands on product inspections and fault diagnosis
  • Basic programming of key components

ABOUT YOU...

To be successful in this role the successful candidate must have previous experience in the HVAC industry as well as a professional business manner when interacting with customers over the phone, email and customer facing.

A Trade Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning is considered an advantage however working in the industry in roles such as a senior air conditioning apprentice or similar technical support role will also be considered.

The successful applicant must have the ability to interact professionally with both customers and internal staff in a positive and constructive manner while responding to complex situations. The ability and willingness to identify problems and originate and implement solutions is critical.

Highly effective organisation and prioritising skills are essential. The ability to work without supervision, use own initiative when required and possess a positive attitude towards teamwork are all necessary. A basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
