Trouble Shooter to join our Service team in Lemmer.
What are the key responsibilities associated with the job?
As Trouble Shooter you perform maintenance jobs, trouble shooting activities and resolve product issues for customer equipment. As a team lead you do this without supervision and are accountable for the safety, competency and productivity of Trainees, Maintenance technicians and Contractors assigned to you. You identify reoccurring faults on electrical and mechanical systems of the turbine. You develop and share advanced troubleshooting knowledge and skills with other technicians and trouble shooters. Providing on job qualification training, evaluating competency and quality for troubleshooting procedures of individuals assigned to them is part of the job. Of course you keep records, maintain documentation, follow safety procedures and report technical, safety issues and difficulties to the relevant individuals on site/back office. The working schedule varies per wind park from 4 days on/off (Lemmer) to even 1 or 2 weeks on/off (offshore). Also the transfer set up differs from a Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) (Project Lemmer) to/from the turbines to a Service Operating Vehicle (SOV) (Project Gemini).

What do I need to qualify for this job?
The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years’ experience as a Trouble Shooter on Wind Turbines;
Has extensive service experience (500 hours, annual service and commissioning), on Siemens Gamesa turbines is considered a benefit;
Ideally the candidate should be technically educated (for instance MBO4) or equivalent level in experience;
For IV and WV at the HV-substation: IV/WV Stipel certified training
L-AUS or equal electrical training.
Advanced understanding of electrical & mechanical systems, all turbine components and systems;
Advanced understanding of IT;
Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English (Advanced level). Additional languages are considered a benefit;
Considered a benefit:
GWO offshore training (e.g. First Aid, Manual Handling, Sea Survival, Working On Heights)
Safety Passport: Basic Safety (B-SCC / B-VCA) diploma or Safety for Operational Supervisors SCC (SOS-SCC / VOL-VCA) diploma or international equivalents.
