About the Job

As the IT Developer, you will contribute to improving the performance of IT functions including system development lifecycle which involves: project planning, feasibility studies, systems analysis, requirements definition, systems design, integration and testing, acceptance, implementation and maintenance.

You will report to the Manager: Research and Data Management Support and your key stakeholders will be business users, research system owners, university staff, researchers, students along with suppliers and vendors.

Skills and Experience

As the ideal candidate, you will have relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience with system development methodologies, standards and quality procedures. You will also have experience using programming languages, application development tools and databases. Along with an understanding of web application and database development tools.

Your well-developed interpersonal and communication skills along with excellent time management skills will help you maintain high productivity and meet competing demands under limited supervision.

The appointments will be made at the HEO5 level (base salary range of $66,774 - $79,459). In addition, a generous superannuation contribution of up to 17% may apply along with a family friendly approach, development opportunities and a positive work/life balance.
