Aruba has an outstanding opportunity for a Territory Manager, WA to be based in Perth.  In this role you will work directly with partners to develop & implement innovative sales programs for our WA clients. You will be a highly-motivated, sales person with some IT Sales or Channel Sales experience excited to grow & cultivate Aruba's partners & alliances to their full potential. The successful candidate for this position will be a highly-motivated, strategy-oriented sales person excited to grow and cultivate our partners and alliances to their full potential.  

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow the Aruba WA business.

  • Establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with the client, up to and including the C-level for mid-to-large accounts, by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry.

  • Initiate engagement with targeted accounts; lead the opportunity creation/development process

  • Responsible for creating and driving their sales pipeline. Capture leads outside of specialisation and use closed-loop lead management to ensure assignment and follow-up by others.

  • Develop proactive campaigns to build the pipeline.  Use your knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, develop and close opportunities.

  • Maintain a professional, working and consultative relationship with Aruba’s Channel Partners to deliver growth and drive your business.

  • Forecast your sales business and deliver predictable sales outcomes.

  • Maintains knowledge of competitors in accounts to strategically position the company’s products and services better.

  • Use specialty expertise to seek out new opportunities and expand existing opportunities to build the pipeline.

  • Develop joint sales plans and strategy with the WA sales team.

  • Development of quota objectives and future direction for the defined product category.

  • Experience in selling outsourcing or ‘as a services’ solutions, an advantage.

  • May invest time working with and leveraging external partners to deliver sale.

Skills & Experience Required:-

  • University or Bachelor’s degree / directly related previous work experience.

  • Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota, diversity of business customer, and higher level customer interface.

  • Typically 9 years and above of successful of solution selling.

  • Previous experience in utilising channel partners in to sell successfully and achieve your quota.

  • Experience in selling large enterprise solutions

  • Strong presentation, written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to work as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of IT and/or industry solutions, products and services to solve business challenges.

  • Understanding of IT networking products and issues highly regarded
