ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Test Lead ICT, you will be responsible for the management, coordination and execution of testing across AMSA’s application and infrastructure environment as well as development and implementing IT testing process improvement.
You will play a lead role in coordinating IT project test teams and ensure the operational suitability and readiness of projects and BAU changes through defined test and change management processes.
You will work with AMSA IT and business users to develop test strategies and plans for all phases of the software development lifecycle including system test, user acceptance testing and production verification testing.
This role will see you engage, negotiate and report on test outcomes with a number of internal and external stakeholders, including vendors to support the successful delivery of projects.
Reporting to the ITS Program Manager, you will be part of a strong customer focused and results driven team of professionals.
ABOUT THE PERSON
To be successful in this position, you will have substantial senior test analyst or test lead experience with a solid understanding of structured test methodologies and processes.
Your experience with different development methodologies will be key to your success. You will have strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience and experience with using test management tools.
You will be well adept with defect logging and resolution and have strong SQL/SOAPUI experience.
You will be a natural promoter and influencer, with an ability to engage and network with a variety of stakeholders. You will possess strong presentation, written and verbal capacities and you will be technically qualified.
