Job Description
Vidoori, Inc., a rapidly growing small business that specializes in building strong Engineering teams that provide high quality, modern technical solutions to our clients is seeking an Interface Tester - Entry Level who:
+ Design, develop, test and support applications and interfaces.
+ Develop and maintain accurate documentation and providing support to various related projects as needed.
+ Work and communicate with a variety of group members, both functional and technical, to define requirements, resolve issues and meet deadlines.
+ Be able to work on multiple interfaces and projects simultaneously. conceptually
+ Understands the role of Integration and Testing in the SDLC
+ Perform work under supervision, but is willing to ask questions as needed
+ Recommend and facilitate quality improvement efforts
+ Aid in decision-making process to meet organizational objectives
+ Participate and execute functional test cases and support integrated testing cycles independently and also while working with customers;
Experience and Skills
Required Qualifications
Capable of:
+ Providing inputs to the development team during the development stage of product to meet client’s business needs
+ Helping prepare accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, user interface guides, and functional specification documents
+ Communicating with external clients and internal teams to deliver product’s functional requirements (for example, screen, interface, and GUI designs)
+ Supporting the documentation of the acquired results of analysis and workflows, and obtain sign-off from the appropriate client
+ Working with the team to determine issues in service and software by coordinating with the groups within the business unit who test, validate, and evaluate new applications and functions
Familiar with:
+ Operating in an Agile environment
+ End to end, functional testing concepts
+ Writing and executing test cases
+ Troubleshooting and debugging
A general knowledge of:
+ Database concepts and integration across computing platforms
+ Configuration management concepts
Preferred Qualifications
A general knowledge of:
+ Performance testing concepts
+ Some programming languages and technologies (Node.js, Java, .NET, etc.) scripting (VBScript, Perl, Python)
Technologies and Tools
Redmine, Rational, DOORS, MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint, HP UFT/QTP, HP Quality Center, Selenium, SoapUI, HP Performance Center/LoadRunner, Unix/Linux, Windows, Oracle, CloudBees, Jenkins
Seeking 0-3 years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
