DESCRIPTION:

GONZÁLEZ BYASS, a multinational company that elaborates and distributes wine & premium spirits, with more than 900 employees located in our Workplaces in Spain, UK, USA, Mexico and Chile, is looking for a person based in Germany, responsible for the design, management and implementation of all marketing activities and marketing strategy in DACH+ BENELUX (At least 75% of time DACH):


  • STRATEGIC: marketing-budget/plan design with the corresponding Brand Managers, competitors/market analysis, market research, cooperation with importers/distributors, monitoring, result analysis |reporting, responsibility for CRM system data
  • RETAIL: organisation of tastings/event, creation of displays, co-branding activities, on-pack creation, shelf analysis, selection and communication with promotionagencies
  • GASTRONOMY/ON-PREMISE: creation of POS, event organisation, organisation (trade) fairs, product launches, organisation of cocktail competitions/masterclasses, organisation of roadshows, product presentation
  • DIGITAL: social media platforms, KOLs,  website set up, newsletter, communication with agencies, monitoring via brandwatch, conducting survey, communication with online retail/mail order
  • CREATIVE: creation of print media, translation of product sheets, communication with agencies/photographers


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. To ensure all our Marketing Plans and activities are within our budgets each year and to ensure we are using efficiently those budgets.(follow up expenses, A&P’s invoices, etc)
  2. To be in direct contact with our marketing teams in Chile and Spain to be updated with the latest marketing campaigns, awards, etc… and to communicate those plans and awards to all our partners in due time
  3. Direct management in DACH+ BENELUX area: along with International Marketing Manager and Head of Communication:
  • Media investments
  • PPRR: communication with PPRR agencies, content creation, organisation of press events, communication with influencers
  • Tio Pepe Challenge and other competitions
  • All Fairs (stand bookings, tasting events, masterclasses, designs, payments, samples, etc…)
  • POS management, and creation
  • Samples
  • Marketing support to our importers for Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium and The Netherlands
  1. OCM in Switzerland
  2. To be proactive, and propose new ways of promoting our brands in the market


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


  • At least 5 years experience in a similar position of Trade Marketing.
  • Experience in the wine & spirits industry
  • MBA/ Bachelors level
  • Fluent in english and german
