The Transportation Engineer/Planner is responsible for technical analyses and studies related to the planning and design of a broad range of airport landside facilities that include roadways, curbsides, parking, rail, commercial ground facilities and support facilities.

+ Bachelor?s degree in civil or transportation engineering or planning.
+ Preferred 0-5 years of experience in traffic or transportation engineering
+ Experience in traffic engineering and highway design software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, InfraWorks 360, Vissim, Vistro, and Synchro.
+ High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
+ Proven task management experience.
+ Experience working as part of a multi-discipline team.
+ Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-client environment.
+ Willingness to travel to support Ricondo's global project portfolio.
+ Performing capacity analysis and requirements for airport landside facilities, alternatives development, layout plans and CAD support.
+ Developing and evaluating congestion mitigation solutions and strategies including maintenance of traffic plans for large airport related construction projects.
+ Conducting field surveys, investigations, and data collection in support of airport planning studies.
+ Compiling, interpreting and presenting research data for airport planning studies.
+ Preparing reports and deliverables documenting analyses and addressing verbal and written comments provided by others.
+ Developing, formatting, publishing, and distributing tables, charts, manuals, and maps that deal with existing and proposed airport planning studies.
+ Providing technical assistance and written recommendations for a range of airport planning studies.
+ Developing and maintaining data sets, files, simulation runs; troubleshooting existing programs.
+ Promptly and accurately responding to requests for data and information from internal staff and external clients, organizations, various agencies, and the public.
+ Previous airport planning experience is preferred but not a requirement.
+ Master?s degree in engineering, planning, business or aviation management.
+ Extensive knowledge of best practices, methods, and principles utilized in strategic planning, infrastructure and facilities planning, and operational research for airports.
+ Experience effectively working with senior executives and staff at client organizations.
