Job description:

Product trainer provide full spectrum live/virtual training and support services to Product owner, Business Analyst , senior members and newly joined members with a focus on product and features enhancement awareness.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Planning, developing, and coordinating product training programs for field support personnel and internal members
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers, instructors, or customer representatives.
  • Attend meetings or seminars to obtain information for use in training programs or to inform management of training program status.
  • Evaluate modes of training delivery, such as in-person or virtual to optimize training effectiveness, training costs, or environmental impacts.
  • Prepared training materials, developed instructional content, determined methodology, and coordination with members.
  • Conduct training sessions and developed criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities increasing the proficiency level throughout organization level.
  • Revised training plans to meet new training requirements and kept technical information up to date
  • Keep up with developments in the area of expertise by reading current journals, books, or magazine articles.
  • Coordinated training schedule, dates, and logistics as well as maintained all training systems and databases related to product training
  • Tracked, reported, and evaluated the effectiveness of training solutions and made changes to programs based on feedback; provided return on investment analysis and recommendations
  • Evaluated the knowledge of class participants to determine training needs and effectiveness
  • Obtain, organize, or develop training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials.

Required skills & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • Strong knowledge of training and development strategies
  • Reports and presentations skills
  • Training and coaching to developers, testers and other profiles.
  • Required 7-10 years of experience in training & development
