Transformation Office Senior Transition & Training Manager  

Position Summary

Senior Transition & Training Manager will be responsible for performing due diligence, putting together detailed transition plans and ensuring successful execution as per timelines. Should be capable of managing multiple parallel transitions at the same time. Should understand transformation basics, tools and accelerators, robotic process automation essentials. Should be excellent in reporting, PowerPoint and Excel skills, and should have solid Project and Process Management experience at a managerial level in Outsourcing environment.


  • Create, manage and govern mechanisms of Knowledge Transfer and transition related activities from onshore to offshore teams and work with BU leaders to ensure that process knowledge is documented and transferred to offshore operations teams
  • Create mechanisms to ensure Knowledge Repository is maintained
  • Work with BU & India leaders/ stakeholders to create content for Process and OJT Training
  • Ensure that all training reports, dashboards, databases, training collaterals, and process documents are shared and prepared in the right manner
  • Manage and govern issues identified during progress of new hires, during KT, and during go-live
  • Conduct Training Needs Identification / Analysis (TNI/ TNA) using both structured and informal methods to capture requirements across BUs; identify current and future developmental needs at the individual level, and capacity building requirements for the BUs
  • Align central training / KM initiatives of the larger organization with those of the BUs
  • Project manage some of the learning initiatives to ensure timelines are met and risks are called out
  • Help create, manage and govern Skills Matrix and/or Depth Charts for understanding process skill gaps
  • Create Learning Roadmaps for all employees and identify mechanisms for governing the same
  • Work cohesively with delivery teams to create SME up-skilling and Accreditation Frameworks
  • Agree on BU’s Accreditation Mechanisms and ensure efficacy of training programs along with managing throughput
  • Responsible for creating Training Frameworks within project scope and support process transition
  • Conduct Weekly Review with stakeholders – BU leaders, India Operations and Training Leadership
  • Integrate learning operations with talent management strategies to address critical talent gaps, use performance consultants to identify urgent, time-critical business needs, collaborate with BUs to facilitate alignment with business needs and impact on business results and simplify and upgrade learning technologies to improve learner experience and outcomes
  • Create a central learning shared services function to eliminate duplicative activities and conduct analysis, planning, and other due diligence ahead of learning activities and programs.  Also rationalize duplicative learning management systems and regularly cleanse curricula
  • Identify the learning and development scope from managers, focus on best practices and coordinate with all business units for their process documentation
  • Create new learning and training solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures. The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.  Also responsible for pro-active transition issue resolution and process improvement

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • The candidate should possess a Bachelors’ Degree or any other relevant degree
  • Must have at least 10-12 years of relevant experience and a good understanding of L&D systems and processes, instructional design, content development, training delivery, and evaluation of training effectiveness
  • Should be excellent in reporting, PowerPoint and Excel skills, and should have solid Project and Process Management experience at a managerial level in Outsourcing environment
  • High quality written and verbal communication skills, strong listening skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to interact with all levels in the organization
  • Demonstrated success in implementing innovative training techniques and learning technologies, in multiple areas including managerial and leadership development areas
  • Experience in conducting organizational, program level, and individual needs analysis to identify learning and development needs; experience in running targeted development programs
  • Good knowledge of the training/learning related offerings available in the market, including relevant training organizations and service providers
  • Exposure to authoring tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning development systems, tools and resources. Should also be able to look beyond the (Traditional) LMS
  • Ensure the Transition methodology is well understood and adhered to, and ensure that the assigned tasks/ deliverables are met as per defined timelines
  • Should be self-driven, understand Best Practices concepts, and excellent in Relationship Building
