Reserving & Reporting 
Oversee the calculation on a quarterly basis of the company’s reserves portfolio. Calculating the Company’s local GAAP reserve position and preparing and issuing reports to management
Maintenance of actuarial models and data to support the calculation of said reserves and provide support to the audit processes
Having ownership and responsibility for the Company’s reserving policy. Ensuring that these obligations are both met and reported on. Updating the policy on a regular basis and advising Audit Committee and Board on such changes
Liaise with the Head of Actuarial Function on the production of the year end actuarial report to the Board   
Ensure actual reserve movements are communicated to the Finance department on a monthly basis
Overseei the calculation of quarterly reserves and technical result estimates
Lead the actuarial work streams of the Company’s project to rebuild and automate the whole Technical Accounts infrastructure  
Solvency 2 and IFRS 17
Oversee the delivery of Solvency 2 BEL, SCR, Variation analyses calculations, the production of Group reporting requirements; Sensitivities, New Business value calculations. Produce estimates for the QCP meetings by producing SCR coverage projections.
Oversee the production of the ALM calculations, the Budget and ORSA process and ORSA reports. Propose and present suitable stress scenarios for the Board and Risk Committee.
Ensure compliance with Group guidelines in terms of model developments and testing. Plan and guide major Prophet Developments. Ensure appropriate controls and checks are in place on data
Risk, Capital & Solvency 
Calculate on a quarterly basis the Company’s SCR for presentation to the Risk Committee and Board and population of actuarial QRTs on quarterly and annual basis.
Responsibility and ownership of the Company’s policy on Technical Provisions 
Support the Chief Risk Officer(CRO) in the use and embedding of the model
Provide actuarial input to allow model be run on a timely basis
Run of identified Stress tests with the Capital Model. Actuarial input at Executive and Risk Committee level to the identification of the appropriate stress tests  
Manage the ORSA process through running of capital model based on different scenarios
Develop risk-assessment tools and supporting in the ongoing risk monitoring process
Underwriting 
Actuarial input to quarterly performance reporting
Ensure sound application of the Company’s Underwriting framework
Lead assessment on new products, offers, remuneration schemes for the partners, covers and updates to existing products. Providing actuarial support to Business Development teams and to our partners
General 
Provide actuarial input into management and governance structures of the Company and of the Board
Actuarial input to the annual Budget and Business Planning process 

Represent the Company in various instances and committees
Managing actuarial department

Ability to communicate and operate at a senior level within an organisation
