SAP’s Value Advisory Practice helps companies transform their organizations by collaboratively developing justifications for technology investment decisions, aligning solutions and business outcomes to strategic imperatives, building business cases, and developing value roadmaps.
The Value Advisor supports sales cycles, drives pipeline growth, and focuses on customer adoption and satisfaction.
Area 1 - Lead Value Planning:
-Lead strategic account planning sessions with customers and support account strategy sessions with internal account teams.
-Design and position SAP’s engagements to build the case-for-change enabled by SAP solutions
Area 2 - Lead Complex Engagements with cross-functional teams:
-Lead and orchestrate structured engagements and navigate a matrix organization.
-Use techniques such as design thinking, interviews and process benchmarking to explore new business models and discover value opportunities.
-Oversee and validate the value potential and ROI of SAP-enabled transformation.
Area 3 - Trusted advisor for Customers:
-Engage with sponsors to continually make the case for change.
-Provide guidance to customer executives to build and deliver board-level justification documents (case for change) for approval of multi-million transformation projects enabled by SAP software.
-Coach delivery teams from SAP and Partners to validate business case and secure value delivery to customer based on understanding of implementation dynamics.
-Monitor and guide the progress selected customers are making in their SAP-enable transformations.
-+8 years of professional experience including min 4 years of management consulting experience with leading international firm (or previous Value Advisory experience)
-Success designing, facilitating, and leading complex consulting engagements with a track record of success
-Ability to distill complex, cross-industry problems and insights into simple, clear, and concise outputs
-Ability to analyze and provide recommendations surrounding processes, opportunities, strategy.
-Experience with business cases, analysis, and market research, ideally with large public organizations
-Comfortable aligning stakeholders of various backgrounds and levels
-Experience developing long term strategic, operational, or IT project plans
-Customer facing, with experience building and retaining strong relationships
-Knowledge of executive interview techniques, ability to design and facilitation of executive workshops
-Interest or experience in technology, ideally enterprise software, a plus. Knowledge of SAP or similar companies a plus, but not required
Exposure to companies with complex, matrix-based organizational structure
-Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office (mainly PowerPoint & excel) an asset
-Positive, Motivated, Self-starter with a can-do attitude
-Fluency in English required. Fluency is French strongly preferred

-Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required
-Post Graduate (MBA / CFA / CPA, etc.) or equivalent degree required
