What we offer

In this role you report to the Global Director 3rd Party Sales, located in Amsterdam

Embase is the world's most comprehensive international biomedical database, with resources for everything from clinical trials to pharmacovigilance studies. Despite being the oldest digital asset of Elsevier, Embase continues to show strong growth YOY. The majority of Embase sales (52%) comes from vendors (3rd parties) who license Embase and sell under their own terms and conditions.

The current Embase strategy shows great potential to be leveraged for other LSS, which could help meet our challenging growth ambitions when activated optimally in line with ELSS strategic priorities e.g. in chemistry with Reaxys. Therefore, it is important we choose the right strategic partners to progress our revenue development and to evolve in the data analytics company we aim to be. Evolving the traditional Embase vendor business into commercial strategic partnership management for the entire ELSS portfolio will be critical to our future success
