MaxLinear is seeking a Principal Digital IC Verification engineer to join our growing team. In this role, You will be actively involved in pre-silicon RTL verification of IP blocks and top level SOC, mainly focusing on:-

  • Understand functional requirements and design specifications
  • Define Functional verification test plans from HW specifications
  • Create and maintain test bench infrastructure and tests at IP/ SoC level using SV/UVM/Specman
  • Perform IP and SoC level coverage driven verification, regressions and debug failures
  • Closely work with designers in debug activities throughout the development cycle
  • Collaborate with architects, designers and pre and post silicon verification teams to accomplish your tasks
  • Drive and contribute to IP and SoC functional verification activities from planning to verification closure
  • Support post silicon bring up and debug
  • Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent with 15 years or Master's/PhD with 10 years of SoC or IP/VIP integration and verification experience
  • Expert on Verification languages (System Verilog/UVM/Specman)
  • Hands on experience in creating and maintaining verification infrastructure like scripting, test benches, VIPs, monitors and scoreboards
  • Skills to recreate issues in RTL simulation environment and detail analytical skills to root cause issues
  • Experience in RTL and gate level simulations and debug tools
  • Familiarity with Synopsys and Cadence EDA tools for simulation and regressions
  • Flexible to move between all IP and SoC Verification activities is required
  • System knowledge in communication domain and its interface protocols
  • Experience in Ethernet standards and protocols is an preferred
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience to work with cross functional and multi-site teams
