Incumbent drives the overall GMV, fees target and the P&L for the trade segment
Formulates and roll out the sales strategy for the traders considering the overall market size, revenue and growth potential.
Design and roll out sales initiatives that help team achieve the GMV and fees targets
Creates of region-wise monthly and quarterly budgets and drive the sales team to achieve the numbers
Develops and rolls out sales training initiatives to help the larger team have a better understanding of our product proposition and makes them able to communicate the same effectively to the target customer segment
Creation of manpower plan and drive hiring of right resources in timely manner through team and HR.
Educate the team to leverage on cross sell opportunities in 3PL, financing and Warehousing.
Develop and maintain relationship with key personnel in Trader Associations, APMC etc.
Give Strategic direction to the Sales team to optimize the overall productivity and performance, engraining the company values in the team and aiming at making it the best managed company in the state/Geography
Education & Skils
Graduate Preferably from Agri/ Rural Development Stream
Current or Past Functional Area – Agriculture/Dairy/Foods-FMCG
Driven individual with a go-getter attitude
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in sales/B2B
Experience in leading a B2B sales organization
Ability to build, manage and coach team to produce high performance
