The primary objective of the Vice President, Service Portfolio Management accountable for developing, leading and executing strategic initiatives related to regional and global Technical, Support and Software Defined Infrastructure practice solutions to ensure the achievement of long-term results within the context of a rapidly evolving digital economy.

This role is further accountable for developing, establishing the TIS’s product offer strategy, driving services sales, go-to-market, client engagement, and adoption of service offers

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Develop corporate strategies and plans and ensure that the TIS business flexibly reacts and is aligned to current business drivers, organisational initiatives and regional programs

·         Define and manage the execution of the go-to-market strategies and tactical plans for the TIS business, determine go-to-market program goals and benchmarks, and develop a go-to-market scorecard and/or dashboard and associated metrics to monitor performance

·         Perform strategic planning and tactical activities that supports product growth and management, and drive all new offers, enhancements and upgrades of relevant services or service portfolios

·         Provide regular reviews and reporting on progress against strategic programs and projects and provide the necessary governance and oversight to ensure that NTT Ltd is achieving client and financial management goals

·         Lead the strategic and operational aspects of TIS practice solutions, driving the achievement both short-term and long-term objectives and enabling continuous integration and continuous delivery

·         Identify key performance drivers, set challenging targets and hold team members accountable for achieving results

·         Lead and manage the transformation and growth for selling Software Defined Infrastructure services across the global footprint

·         Direct, own and optimize the Technical Infrastructure Infrastructure Services solution portfolio investment for our clients, aligning with the business strategies and priorities

·         Continually strive to innovate new and differentiated Software-Defined Infrastructure Services offerings that are repeatable and scalable for our clients to help drive more intimate and longstanding client relationships

·         Recommend, lead, identify and create demand for solutions that drive sales and ensure the financial viability for deployment, preparing and reviewing cost estimates

·         Lead and manage a TIS team and ensure performance goals are constantly reviewed and achieved.

·         Design and implements effective leadership structures and governance models

·         Develop and manage a budget for the TIS go-to-market practice solutions

·         Drive the development and support a community of practice where information and best practices can be shared

·         Authorise and drive the implementation of operational policies and procedures for optimal practice efficiency

·         Lead and drive solution design reviews to ensure capacity to provide the solution and the profitability to the business, whilst ensuring client requirements are met

·         Provide advice on the development the service level agreements (SLA) and conduct the required reviews to ensure deliverables are met

·         Ensure the definition and implementation of standards and tools for new solution architecture and deliver continuous delivery frameworks that will promote and establish a reliable and competitive practice

·         Recommend continuous integration for tooling to support regions with automated build, test and deployment with a focus on continuous improvement in quality delivery

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

·         Ability to engage professionally with key internal and external senior stakeholders

·         Excellent commercial acumen with demonstrated profit and loss management capability

·         Fluency in technology-related topics with a natural interest in information services and technology

·         Significant knowledge of the NTT Services business and related products / solutions

·         Thought leader and innovator with an entrepreneurial mindset

·         Demonstrated analytical skills to secure and compare information from multiple sources to identify business issues; the ability to make sense of complex issues and ambiguous situations

·         A high degree of personal maturity and confidence

·         Excellence in persuasion with the ability to influence senior business executives

·         Strategic thinking ability coupled with tactical operational management skills

·         Deep understanding of technologies in the scope of relevant practice(s)

·         Understanding of marketing communications in promoting solutions

·         Understanding in solution product development

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

·         Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent

·         ITIL certifications preferable

Required Experience:

·         Significant years of relevant experience working in an ICT services environment, preferably leading Software Defined Infrastructure in a global, matrixed environment

·         Significant years of relevant experience in a pre-sales/sales and/or solutions practice leadership role preferable

·         Experience leading and innovating within an IT services organization or practice within a consulting firm preferable

·         Significant experience managing and leading a team of technical and non-technical individuals

·         Substantial budget management experience

·         Significant business development experience

·         Experience of working in international business with people from different backgrounds and cultures and from different countries and regions

·         Significant experience implementing strategic and tactical initiatives that support the corporate strategy

·         Experience working in a dynamic environment and the ability to deliver against tight timescales

·         Reputation for building world-class teams, attracting and developing highly successful and motivated leaders in prior leadership roles
