We are looking for a video editor and visual story telling guru responsible for concepting and producing video content for internal and external use in a globally established technology firm. As Video Editor and digital storyteller, you will help develop and style video output, creating engaging content which conveys Valorem Replys expertise and vision. This role will work closely with subject matter experts at all levels across business functions as well as content and creative teams to deliver compelling original content, while managing all technical aspects of video editing. Valorem Replys Video Editor will own post-production projects including but not limited to branding videos, ads, social, gifs, customer/employee testimonials, case studies, interviews, webinars, how to guides, product overviews, demos, explainer videos, major events, company announcements, solution or product launches, and executive messaging.

Responsibilities Manage all aspects of creating original video content, from pre-production, production, and post-production. To include conceptualizing, planning, coordinating/communicating with videographers, selecting stock footage imagery, collaborating with graphics designer, audio/color correction, music selection, editing, deployment and storage.
Through cross-functional relationships, partner closely with subject matter experts across the organization to identify opportunities to tell compelling stories through video that will support marketing and overall business objectives.
Serve as internal video ambassador to create a healthy pipeline of video concepts.
Manipulate and edit footage together in a way that matches a creative brief and tells a cohesive story.
Finalize technical aspects to ensure quality and accurate delivery format.
Ideate and pitch ideas for new original video content to meet video production goals.
Maintain active lines of communication with stakeholders on status of edits, exports, and incoming footage, while being cognizant of deadlines.
Proactively uncover new video opportunities and collaborate across teams to understand and deliver on desired outcome of agreed upon concept.
Requirements 3-5 years video editing experience to include pre-production and post-production.
Expert in all aspects of post-production workflows and finishing including, editing, color & audio correction, typography, captions, vector/motion graphics, etc..
Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and Photoshop.
Light motion graphic experience is a plus but not required.
Creative ability to convey compelling storytelling through the editing of original and stock video, imagery, voice over, music and/or graphics.
Understanding of compression guidelines to meet proper delivery specifications across a variety of channels and platforms.
Manage and understand the creative review process and how to address creative notes (directly/indirectly) to retain underlying storyline and agreed upon concept.
Ability to retain a highly organized project from initial concepting and storyboarding, through editing and storage and archiving.
Experience editing short & long story telling content including but not limited to ads, social, gifs, customer/employee testimonials, case studies, interviews, webinars, how to guides, demo videos, explainer videos, etc.
Understanding of Social Media video editing and best practices for social in various channels.
Experience with selecting music that is brand appropriate and elicits the desired emotional effect.
B2B and technology industry experience a big plus.
Follow & understand the company's brand guidelines and maintain video brand guidelines as the company evolves.
Good time-management skills in an agile, fast-paced production environment with quick turnarounds.
