of Kiel University invites applications for a
W3 Professorship in Economics, especially Macroeconomics
to start at October 01, 2022.
The future job holder shall be responsible for the subject area macroeconomics in research and teaching.
We seek candidates, who have demonstrated excellence in this specialty. The qualifications for this position include publications in highly-ranked, peer-reviewed international journals, relevant teaching experience, and success in securing external grants. We expect the willingness to contribute to the research priorities of the Faculty and to cooperate across disciplines and faculties within the University and with the Kiel Institute for the World Economy.
The professor will offer central courses in the field of macroeconomics in both the German-language Bachelor program as well as in the English-language Master program, am is also expected to direct PhD students. The willingness and ability to instruct in German and English is a requirement.
