Warehouse Operative HUB Sydney

Working in the Oceania HUB as part of a small warehouse team servicing both Sydney customers and national warehouses. Preparing material and loading both customer and company owned trucks and also loading/unloading containers. Maintaining warehouse inventory organization and cleanliness.

Duties include but are not limited to;

• Load and unload product from container or truck
• Move product within the warehouse by using a forklift or overhead crane
• Operate forklift, trucks, and/or railcars
• Utilize barcode scanner to scan all slabs in real-time, including pick pack functions
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Clean and maintain a safe working area ensuring that Health and Safety processes and procedures are met
• Responsible for reporting issues for quality control proposes by reviewing all incoming and outgoing product for damage
• Package finished product (sample items) for shipping - shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling
• Other duties as assigned

Training:

• Completed High School or equivalent (at least).

Experience:

• Experience in a similar role for at least 3 years.

Knowledge:

• Some Knowledge of the industry is desirable, working with stone or similar materials.
• Regular user of computers.
• Experience operating the SAP System a plus.
• Overhead Crane experience is preferred and a forklift license is essential.
