We are looking to expand our Taste & Wellbeing Warehouse team and have opened the role of a 'Warehouse Shift Leader' on an outsourced contract, to focus on leading a shift of Warehouse Operators/Material Handlers responsible for operating material handling equipment and performing tasks to include loading, unloading, scanning, moving, staging, storing, locating materials/products. You will be based in our Egypt office in 6ht of October City and will report to the Warehouse Manager.

Core Responsibilities

  • You will Collect and consolidate production schedules and inventory data to plan weekly and daily material flows and inform needs concerning material/product stocks to satisfy demand and supply without creating business changes.

  • You will Review customer orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, and distributed, prioritize work orders, and dispatch these to the team.

  • Oversee the reception of incoming materials, related administrative tasks (batch number recordings, goods receipt issuance, materials labeling), and dispatching and storage.

  • Oversee the preparation of materials/products for shipment to ensure that the amount and type of product(s) match customer orders.

  • Monitor the loading, unloading, moving, stacking, and staging of products and materials in dedicated areas and predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.

  • Led physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring stock rotation, disposal of unused/obsolete materials/products, and maintaining accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system.

  • Control that warehouse operations are conducted in compliance with company (EHS) guidelines and public safety regulations, e.g. when involving forklifts, clamp trucks, or other power equipment, or manipulation of hazardous materials/products.

  • Monitor the maintenance of warehouse installation(s) and equipment by keeping them clean, safe, and operational, reporting service requests.

  • Identify capability gaps and conduct training to close them.

  • Implement other tasks and assigned by supervisor.

People management

  • Conduct annual human resources processes for the assigned Warehouse team(s) and validate results.

  • Work with the local Logistics management team and HR Business Partner(s) in developing a local capability pipeline for the function.

  • Drive the development and promotion of identified talents within and outside Logistics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, logistics or related field

  • 3 years of experience in logistics in a manufacturing environment.

  • And at least 1 years of experience in people management.

Technical Skills

  • Solid knowledge of warehouse process flow.

  • Experience with shipping and receiving regulations and protocol.

  • Knowledge of transportation supplier landscape.

  • Material/product safety/security norms and regulations awareness.

  • Inventory processes.

  • Supply chain dependencies and processes.

  • Knowledge of production process flow and scheduling.

  • Operate computers - desktop, and handheld for receiving, and real-time inventory updates and customer order shipments.
