HSBC Wealth Management leads the Asia-Pacific implementation of our global strategy to deliver world-class solutions to retail and private clients seeking to grow, protect, preserve or transfer their wealth. This involves the development and management of needs-based solutions covering foreign exchange, deposit, investment, insurance and financing products, as well as the provision of suitable market insights and updates, financial planning and advisory services.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a VP Bancassurance Products .

Principal responsibilities

  • Develop and implement distribution strategies and models to achieve high growth and profitability from targeted segments of the Bancassurance distribution channels.

  • Arrive at an optimal product mix for life and general insurance for different segments

  • Grow revenue by exploring new business opportunities and develop offering to access additional market segments and engagement preferences of the consumer.

  • To achieve segment targets by growing differentiated, sustainable products.

  • To develop Retail Banking Wealth Management sales processes along with compatible with financial planning standards and adherence to sales quality framework.

  • Work with channel heads and wealth sales to ensure optimal distribution model for life and general insurance products in country.

  • Work with analytics to drive customer penetration and pipeline management for both life and general insurance.

  • Drive strategic projects for Bancassurance business as required from time to time.





  • Extensive experience in Wealth Management across sales, product and distribution in a leading private client or wealth management firm
  • Direct experience in the Bancassurance products  area with deep understanding of sales, structuring execution and settlement
  • Knowledge of regional practices and standards would be an asset and broad experience and understanding of the relevant markets will be essential
  • Strong academic credentials with professional accreditations in investments
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to write persuasively and converse fluently in English
  • Proven track record of business results with strong commercial focus and rigor in implementation
  • Demonstrable people leadership and country relationship management skills, with the ability to gain consensus and agreement between geographically diverse countries
