Established by the Hong Kong Government in 1989, OUHK today has developed into a young, dynamic, full-fledged university. We began offering full-time face-to-face programmes since 2001 and currently have about 10,000 full-time and 9,000 part-time students in the five Schools at the OUHK with about 220 programmes of studies.  In addition, there are about 2,000 full-time/part-time students studying in LiPACE.

We are now inviting application(s) for the following post for the Independent Learning and Study Skills Pack in the Educational Technology and Development Unit . The Study Skills Pack involves the creation of a website and a collection of study skills materials in online/multimedia format that aims to assist students in developing their study skills and becoming independent learners.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:
  • creating illustrations and layouts by incorporating text and images for various learning materials and mobile app interface; and
  • creating animations by using motion graphics software.
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
  • a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline plus experience in the design and production of multimedia instructional materials;
  • a creative flair and experience in using applications such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver; and
  • experience in using animation software and HTML5 will have an added advantage.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written test.
Compensation Package
Succe ssful candidate will be appointed on a temporary full-time contract.  Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
