What we’re looking for

We need a motivated yardsperson to assist and support the Facilities Manager and take a proactive approach to ensure that the land, buildings and chattels of the Fulton Hogan Auckland Regional Office are maintained to the requirements of all relevant yard operations and maintenance procedures .

The Role

Your work will cover all criteria pertaining to safety, environmental compliance, hygiene, security and presentation so as to obtain as near a perfect working environment as possible for staff, subcontractors and for visitors.

What you’ll bring to the table

We’re looking for someone with relevant experience of industry principles and practical application, and of course be great with people. We are also looking for the following experience -

  • Experience estimating material and worker requirements to achieve production
  • Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in facility maintenance
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, use repair and maintenance
  • Competent in operating or managing relevant plant
  • Understands how to clean up spills of all products being worked with
  • First Aid certificate
  • Current licences – minimum of Class 2 (light/heavy vehicles) and appropriate endorsements FTWR as required for role
  • Understanding of basic contract administration procedures
  • A can do attitude and the willingness to contribute proactively within a close nit and outcome focussed team is essential.
