We currently have opportunities for Therapeutic Youth Workers who are experienced in Trauma Recovery programs specialists to join our team.
We are looking for compassionate, empathetic people who are flexible and can
commit to full-time rostered hours across all shifts (morning, afternoon, and night). Applicants should have previous (6+ months) experience supporting Children and Young People in Residential Out of Home Care.
Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be capable of dealing with sometimes difficult situations as they arise in a professional manner.
Experience in managing Challenging Behaviour and experience in Mental Health is highly regarded.
You will be genuinely interested in making a positive difference in the lives of people with Children & Young People in Out of Home Care and support them the develop independence.
All applicants must hold all of the following Essential Criteria for the role:
- A current Working with Children Check
- A current National Police Check
- A current First Aid/CPR Certificate
- A current NSW Drivers Licence
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- A completed Diploma in Youth Work or equivalent
