This is a 4-month contract-to-hire position for a .NET Developer within the Technical Services Division (TSD) of the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS). The role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying web applications using .NET technologies in an initial onsite setting transitioning to a hybrid work model. Candidates must be eligible for full-time employment conversion and able to work onsite initially in Phoenix, Arizona.
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using .NET Core, C#, MVC, and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders using Azure DevOps and Git for version control and project management.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues, providing timely technical support.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- 4+ years of development experience, specifically with .NET 6.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in C#, MVC, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Must be eligible to convert to full-time employment (FTE).
- Must be currently located and available for in-person interviews within one week of posting close.
- Experience with .NET Core framework.
- Experience working with Blazor.
- Initial onsite work for the first month at 2222 W. Encanto Blvd, Phoenix, Arizona.
- Hybrid work model after first month with 2 days onsite.
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings via HireRight.
- No visa sponsorship available; candidates must be authorized to work without sponsorship.
- Must be able to start within two weeks of offer acceptance.
- Compensation subject to maximum budgeted bill rate and markup restrictions.
- Full-time position with standard business hours.
- Onsite presence required for the first month, followed by a hybrid schedule with two days onsite per week.
