Job Summary:
The Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to design, develop, test, deploy, and support web applications using modern Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with .NET 8.0+, C#, MVC, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using .NET Core, .NET 8.0+, C#, MVC, and JavaScript.
- Develop clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-documented application code.
- Work with SQL databases, including developing and maintaining queries and database functionality.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, business stakeholders, and technical teams throughout the SDLC.
- Use Azure DevOps and Git for source control, work management, and development activities.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and provide technical support.
- Participate in testing, code reviews, and application deployment activities.
- Analyze technical issues and provide effective solutions with minimal supervision.
- Support ongoing application enhancements, maintenance, and production troubleshooting.
- Work effectively in a hybrid environment and communicate with team members and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET 8.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in C#, MVC, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps and Git.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with .NET Core.
- Experience developing applications using Blazor.
- Experience working in government or public-sector environments is a plus.
