This .Net Developer role in Columbus, OH involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying application software to meet business requirements. The developer will collaborate with IT managers, project managers, and fellow developers in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:- Develop web applications using Microsoft .NET Framework and ASP.NET Core technologies.
- Implement front-end features using JavaScript, CSS, Telerik Kendo UI, and Telerik UI for Blazor.
- Develop and consume REST APIs and Web APIs following Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles.
- Apply SOLID design principles and software architecture best practices.
- Work with SQL Server databases, including design, query optimization, and report development using SSRS.
- Utilize Azure technologies such as Azure Functions, App Service, KeyVault, Redis Cache, and Application Insights.
- Use Visual Studio and Azure DevOps for development, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and unit testing.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and conduct code reviews.
- Communicate effectively and manage time to meet project deadlines.
- 10+ years experience with Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 or higher and C# language.
- 5+ years experience with ASP.NET Core and JavaScript/CSS development.
- 4+ years experience with ASP.NET Core Blazor and Telerik Kendo UI for ASP.NET Core.
- 2+ years experience with Telerik UI for Blazor and Microsoft .NET 8.
- 4+ years experience with Microsoft .NET 6.
- 5+ years experience developing Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) using Web API.
- 4+ years experience integrating and consuming REST APIs.
- 10+ years experience with SQL Server, relational database design, optimization, and development.
- 5+ years experience with Entity Framework (EF) and LINQ to SQL.
- 5+ years experience developing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- 5+ years experience with Azure technologies including Azure Functions, App Service, KeyVault, Redis Cache, and App Insights.
- 4+ years experience with Visual Studio 2022 or later.
- 2+ years experience with Azure DevOps, including git, boards, and CI/CD pipelines.
- 5+ years experience writing unit tests in Visual Studio.
- 5+ years experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience conducting code reviews and working independently as well as in teams.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and cloud solutions.
- Must be able to work regular business hours from 8am to 5pm EST.
- Ability to manage time and resources effectively to meet deadlines.
- Full-time position with a standard shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
- Contract duration of 12+ months with possibility of extension.
