Role: Ada / Java Developer
Location: onsite in Maastricht (NL)
We're looking for am Ada / Java Developer in Maastricht that will take part in an important project in the FDPS environment.
Responsabilities:
- Implement and review ADA code changes in the FDPS environment in line with approved change requests
- Update requirements, design, and technical documentation to ensure full traceability and maintain an auditable documentation baseline
- Develop test scripts and conduct system and unit testing to validate software modifications and ensure compliance with functional and safety requirements
- Investigate incidents affecting the FDPS, identify root causes, and support corrective actions to restore normal operation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Engineering in a related field
- Minimum 3 years of recent professional experience as a backend developer in one the following programming languages: ADA, Java or C++
- Minimum 5 years of recent professional experience as software developer working on maintenance and evolution of mission critical systems with large code base (> 100 KLoC)
- Minimum 5 years of recent professional experience in Linux environment
- Minimum 3 years of recent professional experience with Scrum or Kanban methodology using tools like Jira and BitBucket or equivalent.
- English fluent (C1 level)
