Summary Description
We are looking for a Senior Aeronautical Electrical Systems Designer to work on the development, integration, and detailing of electrical systems in civil and military aeronautical programs. The professional will participate in all phases of the product development cycle, from conception to certification, working in a multidisciplinary team and in direct interaction with clients, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop aeronautical electrical installation projects in a 3D CAD environment;
• Prepare and review electrical diagrams, wire lists, bills of materials (BOM), and technical documentation;
• Define wiring routing (EWIS), supports, fixings, and mechanical interfaces;
• Develop solutions for the integration of embedded equipment and systems;
• Perform segregation, installation, and compatibility analyses between systems;
• Specify aeronautical components, materials, and hardware;
• Support the manufacturing, installation, and integration of electrical systems;
• Support development testing, qualification, and certification activities;
• Participate in the analysis of technical requirements and their implementation in the project;
• Interact with clients, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams in defining technical solutions;
• Prepare engineering documentation according to internal processes and certification requirements;
• Provide technical support to junior professionals and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes.
Requirements
Education
• Technical course in Mechanics, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related areas.
Desirable:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aeronautical or related fields).
Experience
• Between 6 and 10 years of experience in aeronautical systems design, preferably in electrical installations (EWIS).
Technical knowledge
Electrical Systems Design Project
• Design and detailing of aeronautical electrical installations;

• Preparation of wiring lists and bills of materials;

• Definition of wiring routing;
• Installation of electrical and electronic equipment;

Aeronautical Knowledge
• EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System);
• Integration and segregation of systems;
• Aeronautical product development process;
• Certification of aeronautical systems;
• Aeronautical manufacturing and assembly process;
• System qualification tests;
• Application of Service Bulletins and aeronautical modifications.
Tools
Experience with tools such as:
• CATIA V5 / 3DEXPERIENCE;
• Microsoft Office Suite.

• DOORS, Polarion, or requirements management tools;
• FAR/CS 23 or 25 standards;
• ARP4754A, ARP4761, and DO-160;
• ANAC, FAA, or EASA certification processes.
Languages
• Intermediate English (reading and interpreting technical documentation).
• Advanced English will be considered a plus.
Availability
• National and international travel, when necessary.
• Willingness to work different shifts as needed by projects.
