Ai Agent Engineer - Python - Generative Ai (Madrid)

About the position We are looking for a senior engineer to help bring AI agents from prototype to production in a high‑impact environment. The role focuses on developing, industrializing, and maintaining LLM‑based agents using Python and AWS Bedrock Agent Core. What you will bring Strong experience with Python 3.11+, testing with pytest, and maintainable software development practices. Hands‑on experience building LLM applications, including prompting, tool calling, memory management, and cost optimization. Production experience with AWS serverless services such as Lambda, Dynamo DB, API Gateway, Kinesis, and IAM. Experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK or Terraform. Knowledge of agent frameworks such as Strands Agents, Lang Graph or Lang Chain, plus CI/CD with Git Hub Actions. Responsibilities You will be responsible for designing, building and deploying LLM agents using AWS Bedrock Agent Core and Python while developing scalable serverless architectures on AWS. You will integrate AI models into agent workflows, implement observability and monitoring, participate in rapid Po Cs and support their evolution into production‑ready products while collaborating closely with stakeholders and development teams. Projects vary, and if a project ends or you seek a new challenge, we will find another that matches your development path. Work model Hybrid: office two days a week with a 40‑hour work week. You are expected to be available for key meetings, but you have flexibility to manage personal commitments such as doctor’s appointments or child care.
