This full‑time, on‑site AI Algorithm Engineer role is based in Hong Kong SAR. The engineer will design, develop, and optimize algorithms for AI and machine learning applications, working closely with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Daily responsibilities include conducting experiments, building prototypes, implementing production‑ready code, and evaluating model performance using appropriate metrics. The role also involves documenting methodologies, collaborating on system integration, and staying current with emerging AI technologies to inform the organization’s R&D roadmap.
Qualifications
Strong capabilities in algorithm‑focused work, including Algorithm Development, Algorithm Design, and proficiency with Algorithms.
Solid Programming skills in languages commonly used for AI and data science (e.g., Python, C++, or Java), with experience in writing efficient, maintainable code.
Experience in Research and Development (R&D), including experimental design, prototyping, and translating research outcomes into practical solutions.
Background in machine learning, deep learning, or data science, with hands‑on experience using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar tools.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Familiarity with software engineering best practices, such as version control, testing, and code review, and experience with Linux‑based development environments.
