What You'll Do:
Lead the design and development of scalable payment platforms
Drive AI adoption in payment processing and risk management
Architect and build high-performance payment systems integrating with Stripe, PayPal, etc.
Develop and optimize APIs for seamless transaction processing
Implement AI-driven enhancements for fraud detection, risk assessment, and transaction optimization
Improve payment efficiency through automation, analytics, and intelligent routing
Collaborate with product, security, DevOps, and cross-functional teams
Ensure compliance with security standards including PCI-DSS
Drive system scalability using cloud-native and serverless architectures
Mentor junior engineers and promote best engineering practices
Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability
Expertise You'll Bring:
Strong backend development and system design expertise in payment platforms
Hands-on experience with scalable, cloud-native applications and AI-driven systems
5+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably in payment systems
Experience integrating payment gateways such as Stripe or PayPal
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, C#, or Node.js
Strong experience in API design and development
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architectures
Experience with Docker and containerized environments
Knowledge of AI/ML applications for fraud detection and transaction optimization
Understanding of real-time transaction monitoring and payment processing systems
Experience with frontend technologies (TypeScript, React) is a plus
Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to mentor and provide technical leadership
Strong communication skills to interact with technical and business stakeholders
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
