The ECompressor Algorithm Engineer will lead the development of eCompressor algorithms. This role is responsible for integrating software control and protection strategies according to customer requirements, considering the operation modes and boundaries of key components. The engineer will ensure that the software delivers required features, with a focus on COP (Coefficient of Performance), NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness), and robust reliability.
Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Deep understanding of PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) control methods, with experience in IPMSM preferred.
Define internal software requirements and complete module design for eCompressor and Heater.
Implement and integrate algorithms for related projects (eCompressor, Heater) based on MATLAB modules.
Develop key algorithms such as eCompressor torque compensation, harmonic injection, and zero-speed current closed-loop startup.
Support eMotor/Heater parameter mapping tests and perform system calibration.
Support product FCT/EOL (Final Circuit Test/End of Line) specifications in collaboration with system and hardware teams.
Strictly comply with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) rules and behavioral guidelines in the plant.
Requirements / Qualifications
Proficient in sensor less FOC (Field-Oriented Control) algorithms, with experience in Flux or SMO (Sliding Mode Observer) preferred (at least one required).
Familiarity and experience with Major IC DSP development; experience with NXP S32K.
Knowledge of BLDC/PMSM is Required
Minimum 3 years of experience in eCompressor SW control.
Knowledge of MBD (Model-Based Design) is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
Good English skill, both spoken and written, for daily business communication.
