Project Nature (T26)
(a) Bar-coding File Management System (BCFMS) It is Efficiency Office product to record file movements and disposals. Technical support to PCs for operating BCFMS is needed.
(b) Departmental Email System It utilizes Domino/Notes with server virtualization and SAN technologies, which enables transmission of encrypted messages within the Government and over the Internet using PCs and mobile devices, and archive of emails.
(c) Endpoint Security Anti-malware and EDR systems are installed on endpoint devices to:
(i) conduct malware detection and removal, device control to block data traffic and unauthorized devices;
(ii) encrypt data written to removable storage devices mandatorily and automatically;
(iii) early detection of suspicious activities and rectification.
(d) FEHD Windows Architecture It utilizes server virtualization technologies, including Active Directory and DNS servers, for domain and account management, security and patch management.
Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the FEHD;
(a) Provide technical support to users using BCFMS, e.g. database management and backup, posting and access right change, office relocation, account management;
(b) Provide front-end user support and back-end technical support, system administration and monitoring for Domino servers housed in primary and secondary data centres, and local servers housed in FEHD offices, and their associated equipment such as uninterruptible power supplies;
(c) Administer endpoint security systems, arrange testing and remote updating of client software on servers and PCs systematically, investigate and advise users actions to take upon detection of abnormalities;
(d) Handle and vet user requests to register / de-register mobile devices in endpoint security system for device access control;
(e) Administer Internet access proxy server, and maintain its block list to prevent staff from getting to identified malicious websites;
(f) Perform Windows domain user management and support;
(g) Be effective speaker in training classes, devise and update training contents to suit staff of different seniority levels; and
(h) Handle user enquiries and requests for support, including operational problems, account enquiries, problem diagnosis, etc.

Working hours: Normal office hours
Working location: FEHD offices in Hong Kong SAR
Language required: Cantonese and English
On call duty: Not required
Technical Skills:
At least 5 years' experience in Lotus Notes Mail Admin. & Technical Support (LNM);
At least 5 years' experience in Lotus Notes Administration & Technical Support (LON);
At least 5 years' experience in Storage Area Network (SAN);
At least 4 years' experience in Wireless/mobile Email solution (WME);
At least 4 years' experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration (ADA);
At least 4 years' experience in Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS);
At least 3 years' experience in Proxy Server (PRS).
Non-technical Skills:
At least 5 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS);
At least 5 years' experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT);
At least 4 years' experience in managing corporate IT security framework (CSF);
At least 3 years' experience in conducting IT training/briefing (ITT).
Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
