We are looking for an Analyst Programmer/System Analyst to join a retail industry technology team. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions for business operations in the New Territories.

Description
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications
- Gather and analyse user requirements to propose technical solutions
- Build and integrate systems using Spring Framework and Java EE
- Develop and optimise database components using Oracle and PL/SQL
- Implement and consume RESTful APIs and web services
- Conduct unit testing, debugging, and system troubleshooting
- Support system enhancements and ongoing maintenance tasks
- Document technical specifications, workflows, and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery
Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience in application development
- At least 3 years in a similar Analyst Programmer / System Analyst role
- Strong hands-on experience in Java EE and Spring Framework
- Solid knowledge of relational databases, preferably Oracle and PL/SQL
- Familiarity with REST services, JSF, Hibernate, or MyBatis is advantageous
- Exposure to front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON
- Knowledge of mobile development (iOS/Android) is a plus
- Experience with tools like WebSphere or Eclipse-based IDEs preferred
- Good understanding of SDLC methodologies
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication in English and Chinese
- Team-oriented with strong collaboration abilities
