We are looking for an Analyst Programmer/System Analyst to join a retail industry technology team. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions for business operations in the New Territories.

Description
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications
Gather and analyse user requirements to propose technical solutions
Build and integrate systems using Spring Framework and Java EE
Develop and optimise database components using Oracle and PL/SQL
Implement and consume RESTful APIs and web services
Conduct unit testing, debugging, and system troubleshooting
Support system enhancements and ongoing maintenance tasks
Document technical specifications, workflows, and processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery
Profile
Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years' experience in application development
At least 3 years in a similar Analyst Programmer / System Analyst role
Strong hands-on experience in Java EE and Spring Framework
Solid knowledge of relational databases, preferably Oracle and PL/SQL
Familiarity with REST services, JSF, Hibernate, or MyBatis is advantageous
Exposure to front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON
Knowledge of mobile development (iOS/Android) is a plus
Experience with tools like WebSphere or Eclipse-based IDEs preferred
Good understanding of SDLC methodologies
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Effective communication in English and Chinese
Team-oriented with strong collaboration abilities
