Responsibilities
- Develop and support applications using NATURAL ADABAS and CONSTRUCT, interacting with business analysts and end‑users to resolve discrepancies.
- Design and create technical specifications, program specifications, and system documentation, providing own sizing and scoping for development work.
- Assist with system testing: interpret test plans, execute tests, and correct program models.
- Develop, test, and implement new systems and system changes in accordance with coding standards, maintaining the technical integrity of solutions; perform data conversion and document system features.
- Coach junior staff; advise management on best practices and design enhancements; ensure that all system changes align with coding standards and principles.
Qualifications
- 3 years of Bachelor’s Degree/Bcom/BSc/Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent.
- 2‑5 years of experience with NATURAL / ADABAS, including batch and online processing.
- Good knowledge of Adabas databases, utilities and tools; experience enhancing existing systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
