Key Responsibilities
Full-Lifecycle Engineering: Participate actively across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, system analysis, technical design, hands-on coding, code reviews, and production deployment.
Backend Architecture: Design and build robust, high-concurrency backend services, web components, and microservices using enterprise Java frameworks.
API Integration: Develop, secure, and maintain high-performance Web Services and RESTful APIs to ensure seamless data synchronization and interoperability between internal platforms and third-party systems.
Database & Query Optimization: Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas to ensure data integrity and maximize query response times.
System Migration & Refactoring: Assist in transforming legacy application monolithic structures into modern web-based frameworks, proactively identifying and resolving technical debt.
Testing & Documentation: Formulate comprehensive test plans, lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases, and author clean technical manuals and functional specifications.
Requirements
Academic Background: Degree or Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
Core Language Expertise: Minimum 2–5+ years of solid, professional development experience in Java and J2EE architectures.
Framework Proficiency: Proven hands-on experience with at least two of the following application frameworks: Spring Boot, Spring Framework, MyBatis, Hibernate, or JSF (JavaServer Faces) .
Database Management: Strong expertise in relational database platforms (RDBMS) such as Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server, or Sybase , with exceptional PL/SQL or SQL scripting skills.
Web & API Protocols: Solid understanding of web programming architectures, token security validation, and web services deployment (REST / SOAP).
Testing Management: Direct experience managing software testing tracks, tracking defect logs, and coordinating UAT cycles with business stakeholders.
Desirable Extras (An Advantage): * Familiarity with front-end web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, Vue, or Angular).
Exposure to hybrid tech environments or alternative backend languages (such as C# / MS ASP.NET) is highly valued.
Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
