Job Title: Lead Analytics / Data Engineer
Location: Remote (CST/EST Preferred)
Job Summary
We are seeking a Lead Analytics/Data Engineer with strong experience in retail/eCommerce analytics to own and govern the Looker semantic layer for a growing online apparel brand. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in LookML, Snowflake, SQL, and modern data engineering practices, along with recent experience in a startup or high-growth retail environment.
Required Skills-
7+ years of BI/Analytics Engineering experience

Expert-level Looker & LookML (Models, Explores, PDTs, Derived Tables, Access Filters)

4+ years of advanced SQL and Snowflake

Recent Retail/eCommerce experience (DTC preferred)

Experience with Shopify, NetSuite, Daasity, Toolio, and Fivetran

Strong understanding of retail data domains: Orders, Inventory, Fulfillment, Returns, and Customer Data

Experience with ELT frameworks such as Fivetran + dbt, Daasity, or Matillion

Recent startup/small company experience preferred

Recent Retail/eCommerce background

Deep hands-on LookML development and semantic layer ownership

Experience managing an end-to-end analytics stack in a DTC retail environment
