We're looking for an Android Developer who is passionate about building high-quality mobile experiences and wants to be part of a collaborative, fast-moving team.
THIS ROLE WILL BE ONSITE MON-FRI IN FORT LAUDERDALE. Only local candidates will be considered.
What You'll Be Doing- Building, improving, and maintaining Android applications and their core components
- Turning product and design requirements into clean, reliable, and well-structured code
- Shipping new features while continuously improving the performance, security, and stability of existing functionality
- Tracking down and resolving bugs and technical issues across the codebase
- Engaging in code reviews and helping raise the bar on engineering standards across the team
- Keeping a pulse on the latest developments in the Android ecosystem and bringing fresh ideas to the table
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- At least 2 years of hands-on Android development experience
- Strong command of Kotlin or Java
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and how mobile apps communicate with backend services
- Hands-on experience with the Android SDK and Android Studio
- Comfort working with Git or similar version control tools
- A good eye for UI design principles and building layouts that work across screen sizes
