We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer with expertise in payments, banking, or fintech to design, develop, and maintain our Android-based payment solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Android EMV payment kernel and experience in building secure, scalable financial applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications for banking and payment solutions. Integrate and optimize EMV payment kernel functionality within Android applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features. Ensure compliance with banking and financial security standards. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. Stay updated with emerging trends in Android development and fintech innovations. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of professional experience in Android development (Kotlin/Java). Proven experience in payments, banking, or fintech applications. Strong understanding of Android EMV payment kernel and NFC-based transactions. Proficiency in RESTful APIs, Android SDK, and modern development frameworks. Preferred Qualifications Experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, S3, Dynamo DB, etc.). Familiarity with PCI-DSS compliance and secure coding practices. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. Kotlin/Java NFC & Contactless Payment Technologies RESTful API Integration Security Best Practices (Encryption, Tokenization) Experience Level Senior (5+ years in Android development, with fintech/payments focus) Working Conditions/Environment Hybrid/remote work flexibility with occasional in-office collaboration.
