- Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack libraries.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user interfaces that are consistent with Android design principles.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and WebSockets.
- Utilize Android Jetpack components such as ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room, WorkManager, and DataStore.
- Write test cases for Unit and UI testing
- Write modular, scalable, and testable code following clean architecture principles (MVVM, MVI).
- Optimize app performance for speed, responsiveness, and battery efficiency.
- Implement secure data storage and manage permissions according to Android guidelines.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and mentoring of junior engineers.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup and automation.
- Stay updated with Android platform updates, tools, and best practices."
- 6+ years of Android development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and understanding of coroutines for asynchronous programming.
- Deep understanding of Android Jetpack libraries and modern architecture components.
- Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks (Hilt/Dagger).
- Experience with local data persistence using Room or DataStore.
- Proficiency in integrating third-party SDKs and libraries.
- Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and build optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with automated testing using JUnit, Espresso, or Mockito.
- Knowledge of Play Store submission process and release management.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments."
