Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to design and develop high quality Android applications using Java, Kotlin, Android Studio, and related technologies.
- Write clean and efficient code, and ensure code maintainability and reusability.
- Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
- Conduct testing to ensure application quality.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for Android applications.
- Participate in project planning, estimation and prioritization.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in Android, Java, and Kotlin development.
Requirements
- Decent understanding of the software development/testing life cycle.
- Knowledge of mobile design patterns, such as MVC and MVVM.
- Experience with version control tools, such as Git.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 0 - 1 year professional experience in Android development with either XML or Compose.
- Understanding of Android Studio.
- Experience with Cloud services, such as AWS.
Compensation
55,000 to 75,000 CAD annually.
