Senior Android Developer | Contract
Location: Portugal (Hybrid)

I'm currently supporting a global technology business that's looking to bring on a Senior Android Developer to join one of its consumer engineering teams.
You'll be working on a large-scale streaming platform used by millions of customers, helping deliver new features, improve performance and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Android application.
What you'll be doing
- Building and maintaining native Android applications using Kotlin.
- Delivering new features across the customer-facing application.
- Working closely with product, design and backend engineering teams.
- Writing clean, scalable and well-tested code.
- Improving application performance, stability and user experience.
- Participating in code reviews and technical discussions.

Experience Required
- Strong commercial experience developing native Android applications.
- Solid understanding of modern Android architecture and best practices.
- Experience building high-performance, consumer-facing mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of Jetpack libraries and Android development principles.
- Comfortable working within Agile product teams.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering teams.
