ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain high-performance native Android applications using KotlinCollaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver responsive, intuitive screens aligned with Material Design guidelinesIntegrate the application with backend microservices and RESTful/GraphQL APIs to enable dynamic features and contentWrite clean, maintainable, and testable codebasesReview code to uphold quality standards and spread knowledge across the teamCreate unit and UI tests to keep the application stable and reliableEvaluate performance to improve speed, battery efficiency, and memory usageCoordinate preparation and rollout of application updates to the Google Play StoreRequirementsProven hands-on experience building native Android applications for 5+ yearsStrong proficiency in Kotlin with deep knowledge of the Android SDKSolid background in modern Android architecture components and patterns such as MVVM, MVI, and Clean ArchitectureHands-on experience with Dependency Injection using Hilt/Dagger and Coroutines/FlowWorking knowledge of Android Studio, Gradle, and Git for day-to-day developmentPractical experience implementing UI with Jetpack Compose or XML-based layoutsProven ability to write tests using JUnit and EspressoComfort working in an Agile/Scrum setup and collaborating via Jira and ConfluenceEnglish proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or aboveWe offerInternational projects with top brandsWork with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peersHealthcare benefitsEmployee financial programsPaid time off and sick leaveUpskilling, reskilling and certification coursesUnlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ coursesGlobal career opportunitiesVolunteer and community involvement opportunitiesEPAM Employee GroupsAward-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedInEPAM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
