Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Angular / React UI Developer with strong experience building high-performance electronic trading (eTrading) platforms and modern enterprise UI applications within Capital Markets environments.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in TypeScript, Angular and/or React frameworks, real-time data integration, and modern API-driven architectures. This role involves developing scalable, low-latency trading interfaces and microservices supporting multiple eTrading asset classes including Rates, FX, and Spread products.

Candidates should have strong experience integrating with trading ecosystems such as Order Management Systems (OMS), pricing engines, market data platforms, RFQ systems, and AI/ML-enabled analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities UI & Frontend Development

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance electronic trading UIs using:

  • Angular

  • React

  • TypeScript

• Build scalable, responsive, and low-latency frontend applications for Capital Markets trading platforms

• Optimize UI performance, rendering efficiency, and real-time responsiveness

Real-Time Trading Platform Integration

• Develop APIs and integration layers connecting trading platforms with:

  • Order Management Systems (OMS)

  • Smart Order Routers (SOR)

  • ALGO trading systems

  • Real-time Market Data feeds

  • Pricing Engines

  • Position Data platforms

  • RFQ & Offering systems

  • Reference Data services

  • Time-series data warehouses

  • AI/ML platforms

Microservices & Distributed Systems

• Develop and support microservices and API-driven architectures supporting eTrading workflows

• Build scalable REST APIs and WebSocket-based real-time communication services

• Contribute to distributed system design and low-latency architecture optimization

Performance Optimization & Engineering

• Perform frontend and system-level performance tuning for high-end eTrading applications

• Optimize:

  • UI responsiveness

  • Data streaming efficiency

  • Memory utilization

  • Hardware-level tuning for trading applications

• Troubleshoot and resolve scalability and performance bottlenecks

Collaboration & Delivery

• Partner with:

  • Trading desks

  • Quantitative teams

  • Engineering teams

  • Product stakeholders

• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and Agile delivery activities

• Ensure high-quality code delivery through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD best practices

Required Qualifications

• 8+ to 10+ years of overall IT experience

• Strong hands-on expertise with:

  • TypeScript

  • Angular and/or React

  • REST APIs

  • WebSockets

• Experience building enterprise-grade frontend applications and distributed systems

• Strong understanding of:

  • Real-time event-driven systems

  • API integrations

  • Low-latency architectures

  • High-performance UI engineering

• Experience working within Capital Markets or electronic trading environments preferred
