Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain API-driven solutions for Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
- Develop and enhance integrations using SCAPI, OCAPI, REST APIs, and web services.
- Collaborate with Full Stack Developers to define and implement BFF (Backend for Frontend) services supporting headless storefront experiences.
- Build reusable APIs and integration services to support commerce, customer, product, pricing, inventory, and checkout capabilities.
- Develop and maintain Service Framework integrations with enterprise and third-party systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve API, integration, and application issues across development and production environments.
- Participate in solution design discussions and contribute to API architecture and integration best practices.
- Support release activities, deployment validation, and post-release monitoring.
- Ensure API solutions meet security, scalability, performance, and maintainability standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and integration design artifacts.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in API development and integration engineering.
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) development experience.
- Strong experience with SCAPI and OCAPI development.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs and web services.
- Strong understanding of API security, OAuth, authentication, and authorization concepts.
- Experience with JavaScript and backend integration development.
- Experience working with SFCC Service Framework.
- Experience designing reusable API services and integration patterns.
- Understanding of headless commerce and composable architecture principles.
- Experience integrating SFCC with enterprise and third-party systems.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
